We will warmly welcome you at the Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB). Then we will transfer you to your hotel in Negombo where you will spend the night. Relax on the beach or investigate the local area after you check in.
We will travel to Anuradhapura, an ancient capital of Sri Lanka. Inspect some of the most important ruins in the country and spend the night in Anuradhapura. Next day we will go on sightseeing the sacred city including Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi.
Journey continues to Jaffna, the capital Northern province. Visit one of the most important Hindu temples in Sri Lanka, Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil. Explore Jaffna Fort built by the Portuguese in the 17th century.Relax at the warm shallow waters of Casuarina beach. Soak in the Keerimalai holy pond and visit Sangupiddy bridge which connects the Jaffna peninsula with the mainland of Sri Lanka. Tour and explore the Jaffna city and investigate the Hindu culture in Jaffna.
Go for a swim at Nilaweli beach and explore pigeon island, a hidden gem in Sri Lanka just off the East coast known for its coral reefs. Visit the holy Koneswaram temple in Trincomalee and soak in the warmth of Kanniya natural hot water springs.
Climb up and explore the Sigiriya rock fortress, a UNESCO world heritage site. Go on a safari in the Minneriya national park to see elephants. Survey an authentic Sri Lankan village and heal your mind, soul and body with Ayurvedic treatments.
We will travel to Kandy, the last capital of Sinhalese kings. During your stay in Kandy, we will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, that houses a sacred tooth of Lord Buddha. We will also visit Dambulla Cave Temple, another UNESCO world heritage site famous for its sculptures and frescoes. Enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan dance show and visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical garden.
We will travel to the South Coast of Sri Lanka, Bentota. Study turtles at a sea turtle hatchery and go round mangroves in a boat ride on Madhu river. Here, you will have time to unwind and relax at the beach.
After you checkout from the hotel we will transfer you to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight.
